Forest Glade Holiday Park

How did I not know about this place before. We only live 25 minutes away and it's brilliant. Had a great weekend. Kids loved it, dogs had a great time running around the forest. Staff are all really friendly and the shop is really good value. Good to see they don't rip off their customers like lots of sites have started doing. Fair play, great site 👏

We recently stayed in one of the pods for the weekend, they are situated by the woods so apart from first thing in the morning they are quite shady and cool. The weather was very hot and humid so did get hot and stuffy in the night, but we opened the top of the door and was fine. Park was great, kept my 9 year old entertained most of the weekend, plus the woods and the pool. We were allowed to have a BBQ with some friends on the tent pitching site which was great. Both the ladies who were running the site were really helpful and the fish and chips and breakfast pastries were great! Apparently the Chinese Orchid in Cullompton delivers to the site although we didn't try that. Facilities were surprisingly pleasant, plenty of showers and loos, all really clean. We had a fab time, thanks for having us!

2nd time here for us. There's no noisy club house or restaurant here.. but they do have a takeaway menu. Very reasonable prices too. There is a small shop next to the check in area for milk etc And an indoor swimming pool. Can't comment on that, as we don't swim. Upon booking, we was greeted with a cheerful lady. Was very nice. And NO queue! Caravans are spotless.. all in a very good state of repair. Water pressure is great in the shower.. as hot as you can stand it! Lovely! Free Wi-Fi in caravans... 👍 parking is right next to van aswel. What I love personally, is the silence! So peaceful.. its wonderful. If you want to get away for a few days, and just chill out..this is the place for you. We booked via The Sun Holidays..so very cheap.. but you can book via website.

Forest Glade is a small and friendly park, clean and comfy. In a secure quiet location catering for caravans, tents and motor homes. Really well stocked shop, takeaways, swimming pool with sauna, games room, tennis courts, badminton and lovely walks for everyone. We had a lovely 3 night stay in a caravan. Lots to do within a 10 mile drive too and half an hour or so from a beach. Would highly recommend this site.

We were in a 6 birth caravan, it looked new and was fresh and clean, a good space to park and sit around the caravan. The park was good for the kids, although some of the equipment could do with maintenance as most of the kids got hurt whilst on the zip line as the worn seat caused a pinch on the thighs of the children . One of the shop staff was incredibly rude more than once. When we needed some maintenance the maintenance team came quickly and was helpful. The road to the site requires maintenance (July 2023) and the potholes can be deep. The area is in the forest and you would expect it to be quiet, but being next to the aero drome, you can expect to hear a constant buzz or aeroplanes taking off. There is a kids football pitch, a small warnout playroom, and an outdoor play park. The toilet facilities and wash facilities are clean. The laundry needs an update, don’t use the iron as it will stain your clothes!!! The shop is well equipped and you can order hot food there as well. Whilst we didn’t talks a walk through the woodland, it looked like it was a good place to walk a dog as there was many people doing so.
